  1. Both the approach for a right-hand turn and a right-hand turn shall be made from the farthest right edge of the road as safe unless the roadway markings permit otherwise.
  2. The approach for a left turn shall be made from the farthest left portion of the roadway that is lawfully available for the traffic moving in the direction of travel of the vehicle. The left turn shall not be made before entering the intersection.
  3. No driver shall make a u-turn at an intersection controlled by an official traffic control device except from the farthest left portion of the roadway which is available for the traffic moving in the direction of the travel of the vehicle.
