[16] [08] Maintaining Lanes
- Any vehicle proceeding upon a road at a speed less than the normal speed of traffic moving in the same direction at such time shall be driven in the right-hand lane of traffic or as close to the right-hand edge or curb unless overtaking or passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction.
- Where a roadway has been divided into two or more clearly marked lanes for traffic one direction, the following rules apply: A) A vehicle shall be driven within a single lane and shall not be moved from the lane unless the movement can be made with reasonable safety.
- On a two-lane roadway, no vehicle shall be driven on the left side of the centre of the roadway unless overtaking or passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction unless the left side of the roadway is clearly visible and free of oncoming traffic for a sufficient distance to safely pass.
