(a) This is a false statement under oath, where the statement is required or authorized by law to be made under oath.
Perjury is a Misdemeanour Offense.

[11] [02] False Report to Peace Officer
(a) A person commits an offense if one:
- Reports to a peace officer an offense or incident within the officer's concern, knowing that the offense or incident did not occur.
- Makes a report to a peace officer relating to an offense or incident within the officer's concern knowing that he has no information pertaining to the offense or incident.
False Report to Peace Officer is a Misdemeanour Offense.

[11] [03] Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence
(a) A person commits an offense if, knowing that an investigation or official proceeding is pending or in progress.
- Alters, destroys, or conceals any record, document, or thing with intent to impair its verity, legibility, or availability as evidence in the investigation or official proceeding.
- Makes, presents, or uses any record, document or thing with knowledge of its falsity and with intent to affect the course or outcome of the investigation or official proceeding.
Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence is a Misdemeanour Offense.

[11] [04] Tampering with Governmental Record
(a) A person commits an offense if one.
- Knowingly makes a false entry in, or false alteration of a government record.
- Makes, presents, or uses any record, document, or thing with the knowledge of its falsity and with intent that is be taken as genuine governmental record.
- Intentionally destroys, conceals, removes, or otherwise impairs the verity, legibility, or availability of a governmental record.
Tampering with Governmental Record is a Misdemeanour Offense.

[11] [05] Impersonating a Public Servant
(a) A person commits an offense if one impersonates a public servant with intent to;
- Induce another to submit to his official authority.
- Rely on his pretend official acts.
Impersonating a Public Servant becomes a Felony Offense if the person impersonates a peace officer.
Felony Fine: $6,500
Misdemeanour Jail Time: 65 Seconds
Misdemeanour Fine: $4,500
